How To Make Dory Cupcakes

  • Make your cupcakes according to the directions. Let them cool.
  • Mix your frosting and food coloring. Frost the cupcakes.
  • Cut your shapes from the candy melts and Starburst with kitchen scissors.
  • Decorate with marshmallow bits and edible marker.
  • Dip the edge of the cupcake into the brown sugar to look like sand.
  • Cut small pieces of Twizzler and shape them to look like coral.
  • Now place your candy Dory on top. Add on your white sprinkles to look like bubbles.

Mix the coloring in the frosting to your desired color blue

Take your blue candy melts and cut in the shape of Dory

Easy Dory Cupcakes

Ingredients
  

  • Cake Mix
  • White Frosting
  • Blue Food Coloring
  • Wilton Blue Candy Melts
  • Rainbow Twizzlers
  • Lemon Star Burst
  • White Sprinkles
  • Brown Sugar
  • Marshmallow Bits
  • Black Edible Marker

Instructions

  • Make your cupcakes according to the directions. Let them cool. Pull apart your Twizzlers… Cut off small pieces and shape them to look like coral… Now place your candy Dory on top. Add on your white sprinkles to look like bubbles…
  • Take your blue food coloring and add a few drops into the white frosting. Mix the coloring in the frosting to your desired color blue. Start out using a little. You can always add more in later. Frost your cupcakes.
  • Take your blue candy melts and cut around the edges in the shape of Dory using kitchen scissors. Also cut a small triangle from the edge for the mouth. Color the black marks that Dory has on the back side of the candy melt using your black edible marker.
  • Place your Starburst in the microwave for 8 seconds. Press the Starburst into a flat circle using you fingers…Cut out small triangles using your kitchen scissors. Add these on the blue candy melt for the fins attaching with a little bit of frosting
  • Cut your marshmallow bits in half. Press your black edible marker into the middle of the marshmallow bit to look like eyes. Attach the eye on the front top of the candy melt.
  • Dip the edge of the cupcake into the brown sugar to look like sand.
  • Pull apart your Twizzlers. Cut off small pieces and shape them to look like coral. Now place your candy Dory on top. Add on your white sprinkles to look like bubbles.
