Apple Pie Cake is a yummy combination of moist cinnamon cake and apple pie. The best of both worlds!

Apples are a favorite, especially in fall. Crisp and chilled apples are my favorite. A few of my personal favorite apple desserts (including this recipe) are Slow Cooker Apple Bread Pudding and Caramel Apple Bundt Cake. Do you have favorite apple desserts?

Apple Pie Cake

This recipe can be (and should be!) made all year round. It’s insanely good and has a particularly impressive presentation. Some will oooooh and some will aaaaah, but most will oooooh and aaaaah.

But let’s get real. This pie-cake hybrid is absolutely begging to show off for a big event. Thanksgiving, anyone?

I once ordered a similar dessert to be shipped to someone several states away. It was super similar, as a matter of fact. Long story short, it cost me nearly a hundred bucks. Next time, I’ll make this one and ship it myself. It’s every bit as gorgeous and probably tastes even better.

At first blush, this recipe looks a tiny bit intimidating. Don’t be afraid of it though, even if you’re not a person who bakes a lot. From start to finish, it’ll take about 2 hours of your time.

Maybe a little longer the first time you make it. Once you’ve done it though, you will fly through it the next time.

Trust me when I tell you it’s worth it. There are a lot of steps, but they’re pretty straightforward. No fancy tricks here, just following the detailed directions from start to finish.

Why not bake one this week? You’ve got to try it before you make it for Thanksgiving, right? I know it’s a sacrifice, but you and your family will somehow get through it.

How about an Apple Pie Layered Cake for a bake sale?

If you’re looking for a WOWEE dessert that’ll bring in the dollars, this one seems like a great choice to me. Sell it whole, or by the slice. I’m betting it’ll be sold out in a flash!

Enjoy!
