Apple Pie Trail Mix is a fun and incredibly easy treat to make this Fall. Make it with the kids on a rainy October day or as a snack on Thanksgiving.

This yummy snack is a great combination of apple, cinnamon and caramel flavors. With the fall season coming up we are really digging all things Apple! We just made some delicious Salted Caramel Apple Butter and an Apple Pie Cake.

Making trail mix recipes with my kids because its a great way to get them into the kitchen but doesn’t make a huge mess and really can’t be done wrong.

You just take your ingredients, measure and put them in a bowl to stir. Easy peasy!

I like having things my kids can make with no help from me. If gives them a sense of independence and they are always so proud of their creations. Let them get creative and add in their own yummy ingredients.

If you’ve recently been apple picking and have a bunch of apples you want to use up, you can always dry your own! Here is a pretty simple way of drying apples in the oven.
