Bourbon Cherry Coke is a quick and delicious cocktail you can make with just four ingredients. Grab a glass and let’s go!
I love a good cocktail on the weekends and I love trying new things. We just made Rum and Coke Popsicles and they were so fun! I’m also a big fan of the Cantaloupe Margarita. This Bourbon Cherry Coke recipe is a new favorite of mine.
Bourbon Cherry Coke
To make this drink, you’ll only need four simple ingredients: the whiskey of your choice, Coca Cola, cherries and sugar. That’s it!
Making Bourbon Cherry Coke pretty easy. You’ll need to start with pitted, diced cherries, whiskey and the sugar to make a pulp. We use a glass muddler for this.
What’s a muddler, you ask?
It’s essentially a tool used for cocktails that smushes up things like fruit. You don’t HAVE to use this however, you can always place your ingredients in a bowl and use the back of a spoon. The muddler just makes it a bit easier.
Next up, you’ll shake it all up and then use a strainer to pour your concoction into a glass.
You will pour Coke on top and stir. Voila!
Choosing Your Whiskey
You can go down quite a rabbit hole reading about all the different types of whiskey that exist in the world and the differences between them. Honestly, it will blow your mind.
Just know this: for this yummy cocktail you can pick whatever you’d like. The brand and the type are interchangeable here. Just use what you have at home or whichever one looks good at the store!
Enjoy your drink!

Went to Irelns last month and went to the Teeling stillary. Used the small batch and fresh cherries from our tree (froze them 1st) 1 tsp of sugar.. muddled, shook then served over 3 cubes of ice, topped with sugar free Dr Pepper cream soda… awesome sipper drink!
Crown royal is NOT a bourbon. Itβs Canadian rye whiskey. 1000 times better and tastier than merican southern swamp juice.
How dare you sir.
LOL
Can you make cherry infused and can you use maraschino cherries??
