Hot Crab Dip

Cheesy Hot Crab Dip Recipe

This hot crab dip is incredibly easy to make. I definitely plan to make this on Super Bowl Sunday this year. It’s so yummy and cheesy when it comes out of the oven warm.

Ingredients You Will Need:

  • Crab Meat
  • Cream Cheese
  • Sour Cream
  • Mayonnaise
  • Cheddar Cheese
  • Parmesan Cheese
  • Parsley
  • All Purpose Seasoning
  • Buffalo Sauce

How To Make Crab Dip Ingredients

How To Make Hot Crab Dip

The first thing to do when you’re making a crab dip with cream cheese is to let the cheese warm up for a bit. Taking it straight from the fridge makes it almost impossible to work with.

Once the cream cheese is softer, mix it with the rest of the ingredients except the parmesan (we’re going to add that last).

Pour the dip into your baking dish, sprinkle with some parsley and that parmesan cheese and bake.

How To Make Crab Dip

Can You Freeze Crab Dip?

Yes. You can save your dip in the freezer for up to 2 weeks as long as it is in an air-tight, freezer-safe container.

Tip: The higher the fat content the better it freezes. Don’t use a non-fat or low-fat cheese if you plan to freeze it.

Can You Reheat This Dip?

Yes. Just place it in the oven again for about 10 minutes or until it’s warm.

What Goes With Hot Crab Dip?

What goes best to me, is Ritz crackers. Other things we serve with it are:

  • Club Crackers
  • Tortilla Chips
  • Celery
  • Breadsticks
  • Pita Chips
