Ingredients You’ll Need

  • Butter- Use unsalted butter for this recipe.
  • Sugar- Granulated sugar sweetens the brownie and cheesecake layer.
  • Vanilla- Use pure vanilla extract for best results.
  • Eggs- You’ll need large eggs at room temperature for the brownie batter and cheesecake filling.
  • Flour- The brownie recipe requires all-purpose flour.

  • Cream cheese- Always use room temperature when making cheesecake filling.
  • Cherry pie filling- You’ll need a can of cherry pie filling for the cheesecake layer.

How to Make Cherry Pie Brownie Cheesecake Bars

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees and line a 9 x 13 pan with parchment paper or spray with baking spray.
  • In a large bowl with your electric mixer, beat the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
  • Add the vanilla and eggs to the butter mixture.
  • Whisk the flour, cocoa, and salt together.
  • Add the flour mixture to the butter mixture.
  • Scoop 1/2 of the brownie batter into the prepared pan and spread.
  • Start making your cherry cheesecake filling by using the electric mixer beat the cream cheese, egg, vanilla, and sugar together until light and fluffy.
  • Spoon the cream cheese mixture on top of the brownie batter and gently spread.
  • Scoop dollops of the cherry pie filling on top of the cheesecake layer and gently spread.
  • Scoop the rest of the brownie batter on top of the cherry pie layer and spread.
  • Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes.
  • Allow to cool to room temp and then chill in the refrigerator for several hours before cutting.

How To Make Chocolate Ganache

  • Put the two ingredients in a microwave safe bowl.
  • Melt for short 30 second bursts and whisk together.
  • Be careful not to burn it or you’ll have to start all over.

  • Spoon the cream cheese mixer on top of the brownie batter.
  • Gently spread this over the brownie batter.
  • Scoop dollops of the cherry pie filling on top of the cheesecake layer.
  • Gently spread the cherry pie filling.
  • Scoop the rest of the brownie batter on top of the cherry pie layer. Gently spread the brownie batter.
  • Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes.
  • Allow to cool to room temp. Chill in the refrigerator for several hours before cutting.
