Southwest Crab Dip

The first time I ever tried a crab dip I was skeptical. My friend had been bringing it to every backyard BBQ for months and every time she offered me some I turned her down.

Then finally after seeing the dip get ate in mere minutes every time, I thought that people probably knew something I didn’t.

So I finally gave in, grabbed a tortilla chip and gave it a go. I had been wrong all along. It was so good!

How To Make It

The basic of this recipe is crab + cream cheese and sour cream. For those of you that don’t eat a lot of seafood, you can find packages of crab meat right in the seafood section. They have basically done the work for you so you don’t have to buy actual crab.

What makes this recipe spicy (and delicious!) is the siracha and jalapenos. Isn’t everything better when you add some siracha in it?

To dice your veggies it so worth it get a Ninja Food Chopper Express Chop (Just $18.99 on Amazon.) It makes your time in the kitchen chopping veggies a thing of the past.

If there’s any ingredient that you aren’t a fan of, just leave it out! For instance, sometimes when my brother-in-law comes over and I make this, I’ll leave out the garlic because I know he’s not a fan. You can make this your own!
