Detox Salad

This Detox Salad is filled with colorful vegetables that is sure to get your body fueled and ready for a new healthy eating plan. The dressing is packed with flavors that will ensure that this is a great tasting meal.

What is a Detox Salad

A detox salad is a salad that features a lot of vegetables that are high in antioxidants, vitamins, and nutrients. A detox salad is a great way to start a diet or just trying to jump-start your body to give you a terrific energy boost.

Can the Detox Salad Be Made Ahead

You can make this Detox Salad ahead. You can assemble to salad and store it together in an airtight container. The dressing can be made at the same time and stored in another container. However, you do not want to add the dressing to the salad until it is time to serve. The salad can become soggy if you combine the salad and dressing together and let it sit. I also recommend only dressing the amount of salad that will be eaten at one time.

How Long Does Detox Salad Last

Once you have made the salad it will last for about 3 days in the refrigerator. The dressing will last longer about a week when stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator. Once the salad is dressed, it will only last for a short time, about a few hours, before it becomes too soggy to be enjoyable.

Can Protein Be Added

You can certainly add protein to this salad. Grilled chicken, grilled pork or grilled steak can be added. Since this is a healthy salad, you will want to add clean proteins.

    1. I am almost certain that it is the entire preparation. If you look at the fact that this making is 4 servings and what is all involved, I believe that it is the entire project.
