Can I Add More Halloween Cake Decorations to This?

If you wanted to add more Halloween Cake decorations, you certainly could. There are tons of ways to add to this cake without taking away from the vampire theme.  I love the idea of adding fake vampire teeth on the top or even making the icing in between layers red to look more like blood leaking out of each slice.  You could even add some plastic spiders or bats to the cake!

Place frosting between each layer smoothing with your spatula.  You will use a small amount of the frosting around the outside as a crumb coat before adding the remainder of the icing on the cake for the final layer. An iced halloween vampire cake before being decorated
Use the remaining icing to cover the outside and top of the cake completely making sure all sides are smooth.  Once the cake has been iced, you will use the red cookie icing to pipe on blood drips around the top and sides of the cake.
