How To Make Red Velvet Peanut Butter Blossoms

  • Start by mixing butter, peanut butter and sugar until it’s creamy. Next add egg, milk, vanilla, and food coloring.
  • Set that to the side and separately mix the flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt. Take that mixture and add it to the creamy mixture a little at a time until it’s all blended together.
  • Take a small scoop of dough and roll it into a ball before dipping into the red sugar. Keep going until you have all of your cookies ready and bake them for 8-10 minutes.
  • While those cook, get your Hershey’s kisses ready. You won’t have time to unwrap them all when the cookies come out.
  • As soon as they come out of the oven, gently press a Hershey kiss onto the top and move them to a wire rack to continue cooling.

Tips and Tricks

  • You can keep the kisses in the fridge before using as that will help them not to melt when placed on the cookies.
  • If  your kisses tend to melt, wait a few minutes after removing the cookies from the oven before placing them on the cookies.
  • These cookies will stay fresh for 7 days if you store them in an air tight container.
