Get on board the tequila train! Pack your bags and let’s go to Mexico to take a one-of-a-kind Jose Cuervo train trip no one will forget.

If you love tequila, you should take a peek at this Margarita Cake recipe. Trust me on this. It’s so good. Serve it as a dessert when you make these Margarita Baby Back Ribs in your Instant Pot. You will be known as a tequila genius.

Introducing the Jose Cuervo Tequila Train!

How does a Mexican vacation sound? Warm weather, beautiful scenery, and incredible food. Oh my, the food. Mexican food is a deep, deep love of mine. You, too?

The tequila train should be at the top of your list of things to do if you find yourself near Guadalajara.

Jose Cuervo invites you to travel in luxury, watching miles of exquisite scenery pass by outside the window of the train. While you do, the wait staff will make sure you enjoy some amazing tequila drinks.

You’ll get to hang out for a bit in the town of Tequila where you’ll be treated to games, music, food, and entertainment. They’ll also take you on a cool tour of their distillery.

The trains are well-appointed and luxurious. They look like you’re stepping back in time to the years of grand train travel.

There are different levels of tickets from which to choose.

Express Ticket. From their site: The train is decorated with wood-panel walls and designed for maximum comfort. The seats are divided into groups of four, can be reclined and feature a glass-holder. Some coaches have a bar, while others are designed to better attend to the needs of families.

The price is about $111 USD (or $2,100 MXN)

Premium Plus Ticket. From their site: You can choose between wagons with large seats and comfortable private tables for four in a decorated wooden wagon that emulates the old Orient Express, or enjoy the lounge that is available in one of our Premium Plus wagons. They have a bar and waiters service.

The price is about $132 (or $2,500 MXN)

Diamond Ticket. From their site: This is the most exclusive wagon of Jose Cuervo Express®. Enjoy your trip with the luxury of yesteryear and admire the incredible views of the agave landscape from the car decorated with a beautiful embossed roof. It features various rooms for passengers, a bar, a bartender and two waiters that make sure that nothing is missing.

The price is about $140 (or $2,800 MXN per person)

Kids under 5 are free.

At first, I wondered why anyone would take a kiddo on a tequila train. It seems like an adults-only kind of thing. But then I saw the pics of cute kids on the train with their parents, looking at the incredible sites together. By all means, go with other adults if you can. But if not, I think the kids would actually have a great time!
