Back to School Bus Breakfast

We made this fun Back to School Bus Breakfast and my boys really liked it! Sorry for the terrible picture! They were starving and I am surprised they let me take a picture of this at all!

Bus Breakfast

2 Eggs
Dark Grapes
Pancake Mix
1 Strawberry

We separated 1 egg white from 1 egg and set aside. We beat the other egg and poured into a pan on low heat (like you are making a omelette). Place the egg on a plate and let cool just a bit. Beat the egg white and do the same. Cut out a bus from the yellow egg using kitchen scissors. Take the cooked egg white and cut out windows and strips for the road. Make a big rectangle with your pancake mix (for the road). Place the pancake on a plate. Top with egg bus and egg white details. Cut off the tip from a strawberry for the stop sign. Cut 1 dark grape in half for the wheels. Slice a couple of grape halves to make a line going down the side of the bus.

I wouldn’t want to make this on the first day of school with so much going on, but this is fun to make a few days before to get them excited for school!

I have read your other two posts about school buses, the last one being the banana bus. Today at the store I asked my kids if they minded grabbing some of those yellow buses. They looked at me confused. I meant bananas!

That's so cute! My sons pre school is doing lessons about the bus this month, totally making these this weekend.
