We made blondie brownies the other day and thought it would be fun to make them into Batman Blondie Brownies! We have been seeing Batman everywhere from the new movie The Dark Knight Rises. I won’t let my boys watch the Batman movies…they are way too young, but they still love Batman! These are also very easy to make! We adjusted a blondie brownie recipe from Taste of Home. They are so good!
Batman Blondie Brownies
Ingredients:
1/2 cup butter, softened
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
Frosting:
Betty Crocker Cookie Chocolate & White Cookie Frosting
Directions:
In a large bowl, cream butter and sugars. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Beat in vanilla. Combine the flour, baking powder and salt; gradually add to creamed mixture.
Spread into a greased 13-in. x 9-in. baking pan. Bake at 350° for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean. Cool on a wire rack. We cut the brownies in 9 squares making 2 cuts down and across.
Cut the top with a knife to look like his bat ears. Frost the top with the chocolate cookie frosting. Squeeze on just a little for the mouth. Let that dry then squeeze on the white frosting for the eyes.
Note: You can see a few cracks from the top of the brownies as seen in our pictures. If you are preparing these for a Batman party, etc… I would flip them over on the back side and then decorate. It’s just slightly a bit darker and looks very smooth.
Here is my 6 year old with his Batman Blondie Brownies!
You can also make these fun Batman Burgers & Mexican Batman Quesadilla’s for your little Batman fans that we made last year as well!
