What are S’mores?
S’mores is a traditional campfire dessert made by sandwiching toasted marshmallows and melted chocolate in between graham crackers.
- Baking Directions: Line parchment paper on a baking pan. Place graham crackers on the pan and top with chocolate and marshmallows. Then top with another graham cracker. Broil at 525 for 1-2 minutes or until the marshmallow are puffed and golden.
- Stove Top Directions: First assemble the graham crackers over a pan, add the chocolate and keep it ready. Turn on the stove simmer the flame, poke the marshmallows in a long stick and carefully hold them over the flame. Once it is charred on most sides, remove and place it on the cracker. Repeat to finish. Seal with another graham cracker and serve.
S’more is an abbreviated word for ‘Some more‘. It is especially fun to make with kids after they toast the melted marshmallows and press in between the graham crackers.
