The flavors in this cranberry margarita are so fantastic and you could easily this year round with any cranberry juice. Red cranberry juice is the best for this festive cocktail, white cranberry juice can also be used.
This cranberry cocktail is the perfect Christmas and New Years drink. Made with only 5 simple ingredients, it’s super easy to make and comes together in only 10 minutes.
Ingredients you will need:
- Tequila
- Triple Sec
- Cranberry Juice
- Lime Juice
- Simple Syrup (water and sugar)
- Cranberries
- Limes

To make this cranberry margarita look beautiful and festive, add a slice of lime to the rim and top with fresh cranberries. You can also dip the rim in sea salt (or green colored sugar) and add a sprig of rosemary.

RECIPE NOTES
- You can either purchase fresh cranberries and freeze them ahead of time, or buy them already frozen.
- Fresh squeezed lime juice is the best. Skip the bottled.
- Don’t substitute 100% cranberry juice for the cranberry juice cocktail.
- Use a good quality silver tequila.

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups Tequila
- 1/2 cup Triple Sec
- 1/2 cup cranberry juice
- 1/2 cup lime juice
- 1/2 cup simple syrup
- 1 cup fresh cranberries
Simple Syrup
- 2 cups water
- 1 cup sugar
Instructions
- Using a large pitcher, mix together the first five ingredients and stir.
- Fill your glasses with Ice.
- Pour your margarita into the glasses.
- Garnish with lime wedges and cranberries.

Simple Syrup
- Bring the water and sugar to a boil in a small pot over high heat. Reduce the heat to medium and simmer for 5 minutes. Set aside to cool. Store the syrup in your fridge for up to 2 weeks.
