My boys and I came up with this fun 7 Layer Mexican Flag Dip and thought it was so cool. This would be great to have at a Cinco De Mayo party!

Cinco de Mayo Appetzier - 7 Layer Mexican Flag Dip

7 Layer Mexican Flag Dip

We used similar ingredients to our Easy 7 Layer Dip and used sour cream, beans, cheese, green peppers, olives, lettuce, guacamole, salsa, and tomatoes.

You can always use your favorite dip recipe and save the salsa (or tomato), sour cream, and guacamole (or lettuce) for the top. We started out mixing a can of refried beans with some taco seasoning. We then added 1 chopped tomato, 1 chopped green bell pepper, a small can of black sliced olives, shredded cheese, and shredded lettuce. Add your guacamole, sour cream, and salsa in three parts. We happened to save a little of the beans to shape the Mexican eagle in the middle, but you could skip this part. The boys really wanted the bird! We used scrap green bell pepper, cheese, and salsa to make that part.
