Easter Cross Fruit Snack

We love making fun food ideas for Easter & have made a ton of bunnies, Easter eggs, baskets, etc.. and we love making all of it! However, the real reason we personally celebrate Easter is to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ. This Easter Cross Fruit Snack is a fun way to talk about the true meaning of Easter with the kids! This is so easy & takes just a few minutes to make! The apple represents the stone rolled away from the tomb & we used pretzel rods to make a cross to represent Jesus dying for all of our sins.

John 11:25-26 “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies; and whoever lives and believes in me will never die.”

Easter Cross Fruit Snack

1 Red Apple
Nutella
2 Pretzel Rods

Start out by cutting the front off of the apple using a knife. Spread Nutella on the front & place the cut off piece to the side. We melted just a few chocolate chips in microwave for about 20 seconds & attached a pretzel rod on top of the other rod. Let that set for a few minutes. Then press the pretzel cross in the top middle of the apple. That’s it…SO easy!
