These easy German Chocolate Cake Cheesecake Bars are absolutely delicious. This is quickly going to become a favorite recipe when you’re craving some chocolate in your life.

The basics of this is simply three ingredients – what could be easier??

Chesecake bars are one of my favorite sweet treats ever. My family loves the Pumpkin Cheesecake bars and especially the Orange Julius Cheesecake bars!

Easy German Chocolate Cake Cheese Cake Bars

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of Pecans (chopped)
  • 1 cup of Coconut (chopped)
  • 1 box of German Chocolate Cake (including ingredients needed on box)
  • 8 oz. of Cream Cheese
  • 2 cups of Powdered Sugar
  • 1/2 of a cup of Oleo

German Chocolate Cheesecake Bars Directions

  1. Start by greasing a 9 x 13 in. baking pan, and preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Mix together your pecans and coconuts. Cover the bottom of your baking pan with your pecan and coconut mixture.
  3. Mix your cake batter as directed on the box, and pour over your pecans and coconut.
  4. Next, in a large mixing bowl, mix together your cream cheese, powdered sugar, and oleo.
  5. Beat with a hand mixer until smooth.
  6. Spoon mixture over cake batter.
  7. Use a knife to cut batter, giving the cream cheese and batter a marbleized look.
  8. Bake for 45 minutes, and then let cool completely.
  9. Serve and enjoy!
