Spiced Rum Bacon and Chocolate Bundt Cake
 
 
Ingredients
  • 1 18.25-oz box Chocolate Devil's Food cake mix
  • 1 3.9-oz box Instant chocolate pudding mix
  • 4 Eggs room temp
  • ½ cup Water
  • ½ cup Vegetable oil
  • ½ cup Spiced Rum
  • 1 cup chopped cooked bacon
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • ½ cup peanut butter chips
  • ½ cup un - salted Butter room temp
  • 1 cup Granulated Sugar
  • ¼ cup SpicedRum
  • ¼ cup water
  • Garnish Ingredients
  • ½ cup chopped cooked bacon
  • ½ cup chocolate chips
  • Vanilla Rum Icing Ingredients
  • ½ cup butter
  • 3 cups powder sugar
  • ¼ cup Spiced rum
  • ¼ cup water
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C).
  2. Grease one 10 inch Bundt cake pan.
  3. In a large bowl with a electric mixer, beat cake mix, pudding mix, eggs, cup oil, water, and ½ cup spiced rum on high speed for 2 minutes.
  4. Add the bacon, chocolate chips, and peanut butter chips, stir to combine.
  5. Pour batter into the prepared pan.
  6. Bake at 325 degrees F for 50-60 minutes.
  7. Let cake stand for 20 minutes and then turn out onto a serving dish.
  8. Make the Vanilla spiced rum glaze.
  9. In a medium bowl combine butter, sugar, ¼ cup of rum, and cup of water.
  10. Mix until well combined.
  11. Pour over the cake.
  12. Garnish
