“Egg-spect the Best” Brunch with Egglands Best Eggs & Giveaway!!

We eat so many eggs in this house and we were just thrilled when we were contacted by Eggland’s Best to host a brunch for them! We do not have a lot of promotions on our blog for companies unless we really love the product! We only eat Eggland’s Best eggs and we had so much fun hosting a brunch for them. I am sure we are one of their biggest customers. My little boys eat like men and request eggs daily! We have tried every brand of eggs out there and have stuck with Eggland’s Best for the past couple of years. They taste the best with a great price! We also love the fact that they have 10 times more vitamin E, nearly 3 times more vitamin D, and double the amount of omega-3s than other generic eggs.
We wanted to create some fun ways to serve eggs. I hosted the brunch at my work. I work at a fitness facility that is part of a hospital. There were children and adults that attended so we made some fun things for everyone!

I was asked by co-workers about the vases. I just wrapped burlap around a mason jar and then tied a bow around with pink gingham ribbon. Found a similar idea on Pinterest and just changed it up a bit…

We thought it would be cute by making little Birdy Breakfast Nests. We mixed Simply Potatoes Shredded Hash Browns with 3 Tablespoons of olive oil. We pressed in muffin tins on the bottom and up the sides. We baked at 425 for 30 minutes. We transferred to cupcake liners and displayed in a cupcake stand.
We cut hard boiled eggs in half and placed in the nests. We pressed on bacon bits for the eyes. We cut triangles out of cheese. We cut slits in the hard boiled eggs and pressed in the cheese triangles. Turned out so cute!
This is the first time I have used pre made hard boiled egg from Eggland’s Best. You can get them in a bag. They are awesome and taste great! I hate boiling eggs and will get them from now on. Saves so much time and they are perfect!

We made tiny Flower Quiches. We cut out flower shapes from a pie crust with a flower cookie cutter. We used this recipe. We pressed the cut out flower shapes in mini muffin tins. Bake as directed. Everyone LOVED these! Very good!
Flower Quiches for Mother's Day or a Spring Brunch!
We made Egg Flower Pots by lining up crescent rounds for the pot. We cut hard boiled eggs in half for the peddles. We made egg salad for the middle of the flower. We used green onion for the stems.

I enjoy making omelets for dinner. We usually just keep them simple with ham and cheese, but sometimes I jazz them up with sundried tomatoes, feta cheese, and artichokes.

I love to make deviled eggs. LOVE. They are my go-to dish for appetizers. So easy and so delish!

  3. I didn't know they made the pre made hard boiled eggs. I will be looking for these for my recipe needs. Thanks.

  4. My favorite way to do eggs? hmmmmm…… You can do so much with them, but I guess it'd be hard boiled. With a dash of salt & pepper, it's a meal in itself. Thanks.

  5. My favorite way to eat eggs is scrambled. It's an easy breakfast to serve the kids in the morning!
