Jabba The Hut Hummus

We are on day 4 of our Star Wars party food that we will be sharing for the next 2 weeks. We made Jabba out of hummus and called him Jabba the Hummus. We were a bit short on time so we purchased premade hummus and shaped Jabba out of that. We added the face, arms, etc… details by putting some of the hummus in a baggie. Snip off the corner and pipe everything on. We also used a tooth pick to make the nose and mouth. We sprinkled cumin in between his rolls to make it show up a more. The eyes are cut from a red pepper and a black olive using kitchen scissors.

We served with Padawan Pitas

The kids thought this was very cool and it’s really easy to make! Here is a close up…
