Josh Groban

Josh Groban is an art philanthropist and an advocate for the Americans for the Arts Artists Committee. He is truly an inspiration to many all over the world. He decides to share a Youtube video on his channel of him singing Hallelujah in his shower.

The shower gives just the right amount of natural amplification for his voice. It is the perfect place to sing, and he mentions this is his third shower song, so we know there are others out there!

He decides to dedicate this song to all the “brave frontline workers around the country but especially those in the epicenter at New York Presbyterian Hospital and Columbia University Irving Medical Center and around NYC.”

Hallelujah is written by Leonard Cohen and was released in 1984. It became more popular when it was featured in Shrek. Now people all around the globe are doing their own versions of the song.

This song is all about sharing hope amidst the darkness going on around. It is the perfect song for this time right now.

However, he is not singing alone.

Lucia Micarelli

Joins him is Lucia Micarelli, the violin virtuoso. She is from Queens, New York and has been featured in two of Josh Groban’s world tours for her amazing talent.

She not only sings with him in this video but also plays the violin! Once Lucia starts playing, Josh starts to sing. She quickly joins in as well and together they create the perfect rendition to this powerful song.

They are choosing to be lights during this rather dark time by sharing their talents with all of us, and we are so grateful!

Josh Groban and Lucia Micarelli created a beautiful masterpiece of Hallelujah, all in the shower.
