Our 2014 "Mancakes" idea for a fun Father's Day Breakfast!

We came up with “Mancakes” several years ago & every year we create a new idea for a fun Father’s Day Breakfast! We made these Mustache Pancakes this year & I bet any dad would get a kick out of this. Super easy to make & the kids will have fun making this all by themselves!

Father’s Day Mancakes

Pancake Mix (we like Bisquick)
Cocoa
1 Banana
2 Chocolate Chips
1 Strawberry

Start out by making your pancake mix & shape a mustache in a pan on low heat like this…

We mixed a little bit of cocoa into some of the pancake mix. Cut around the edges using kitchen scissors to clean up the sides a bit. You can stack them on a plate like this as well….

For the Dad face we used banana slices for the eyes & chocolate chips for the pupils. For the hair we made a long rectangle pancake & cut out triangles from the top to make the hair. Cut a piece of a strawberry for the mouth.
