A Pilgrim Lunch!

Pilgrim Sandwich

We created this Pilgrim Lunch the other day and it’s so easy to make! We used 2 slices of dark german wheat bread, 1 slice of deli turkey, 1 slice of provolone cheese, 1 raisin, and 1 tie dye fruit roll up.

We cut a circle out of 1 piece of bread for the pilgrims head. Our turkey fit right on top. We cut out the other piece of bread into a hat shape. We cut a strip from our cheese and put that on the hat. We cut out the buckle, hair, and eye brows using the yellow from our multi colored fruit roll up. We cut out the mouth with the red part of the fruit roll up. We cut out two small circles from the cheese for the eyes and cut 1 raisin in half for the pupils.

The kids loved it and it’s a fun way to talk with the kids about the Pilgrims
