I am now on my third child going through potty training. It never gets any easier & my boys are all so different. I really didn’t push it with my youngest knowing he will do it when he is ready like my other boys. However, he is now a couple months from turning 3 & I need to get serious about talking potty! We made this Potty Fruit Snack for him today thinking a fun food potty might get him excited. He loved it, but then I thought how weird to have him eat a potty!ha Potty training makes people like me crazy to think of things like this. However, my boys really got a kick out of it!:)
Potty Fruit Snack
1 Banana
1 Pretzel Stick
Cut the tip off of a banana and then scoop out the center for the bowl. Place it on a banana slice. Cut a larger piece off and cut the bottoms of the sides. Place in the back. Cut off a edge piece & place on the top. Break off a pretzel piece and press on the side. Super duper easy!!
Here is my 2 year old with his Banana Potty & he thought this was pretty funny! Hope he doesn’t try to eat the real potty!ha
I know I know…this is pretty gross. However, I have 3 little boys that insisted we add Hershey mini chocolate chips in the bowl….
Update…my 2 year old started going to the potty regularly the day that we made this for him. He had refused to even try before. I totally credit this banana potty as weird & crazy as this idea seems!:) This made him laugh & it worked! YAY for the edible potty!!:)
We gathered up some other fun edible Potty ideas for you & it made me feel better knowing that others have made potty food as well!:)

Hey those foods are hilarious and well…gross. But they're cute! How did you train your kid? Did you use the 3-day potty training method? I used the 3-day potty training method to train my son and by the fourth day, he's already diaper-free. I also used motivational tools and stickers on the chart to encourage him to use the potty trainer and lately, toilet with potty seat in it.
I find this post both oddly amusing and yet gross ( the chocolate chips in the potty). Lets just hope it doesn't encourage our children to experiment in eating there own poop !! Great post though you are highly creative.
Thanks for the information. Our son is 17 months old and we are preparing to start potty training.Kelly Brown
my 3 year old is looking at this over my shoulder and requesting an apple potty next. LOL
This is fantastic. Wish I had seen it a few years ago! This will be a feature on Thursdays Treasures.
I am laughing so hard, I have tears in my eyes! This is so funny!! My youngest just turned three and I am having a hard time with potty training. My first was SO easy! Maybe fun ideas like this will spark some interest. I'm sharing on my FB page…love it!!

This is hilarious! And I can appropriately say, laughing my butt off. Maybe I should offer them and "teaching them to aim" treats?! My kids are really digging frozen bananas now 😉
Thanks so much for sharing your awesome recipe with Full Plate Thursday. Have a great weekend and hope to see you soon!

This is too funny. My four year old son would be in stitches over this snack. I'm making one this week!
That's hysterical!
How cute is this! When my baby sister was potty-trained, my mother made a cake shaped like underwear to celebrate! lol
That is one of the most hilarious things I have ever seen! LOVE it! ~Kelsy<br /

Totally made me laugh! I love the doughnut one! Thanks for linking it up at Monday Funday!
This cute and funny! I wish I would have seen this post a long long time ago. I'll probably make one of these for my son even though he's already potty trained. He'd love it!
