Kitchen Fun With My 3 Sons

Princess Pancake Breakfast

Sometimes on our blog we like to throw in some fun ideas for little girls. My boys are never thrilled about it and make their baby brother eat it.ha However, they will help come up with some fun girly ideas for their neighborhood girl friends from time to time.

We thought that little girls would love some Princess Pancakes! There are so many ways to do this, but this is what we came up with. We used Pancakes, 2 Eggs, Strawberries, 1 Mini Marshmallow, 2 Mini Chocolate Chips, and 1 Dark Grape.

We made a round pancake in the pan with our pancake mix. Place that on the plate. We beat 2 eggs and cooked them in the pan like making a omelette. Flip those onto another plate and let them cool down a bit. We cut ours to look like her hair with kitchen scissors. We have mini star cookie cutters so we cut them out from the egg scraps. We sliced strawberries to make the hat and lips…she has some BIG lips!:) We cut a mini marshmallow in half for the eyes and used mini chocolate chips for the pupils. The nose is a small piece of a pancake. We made the eye lashes from a dark grape. You could also just cut a raisin or leave that part out.
The wands are pieces of cut strawberries.
