Soldier Fruit Snack

First of all…

Thank you to the men and women who have served and are currently serving in the military for our great country. We realize that freedom is not free and your sacrifices are greatly appreciated. May God bless and keep you and your families.

We wanted to celebrate Veterans Day by making this fun Soldier Fruit Snack! Surprise the kids with this fun & healthy snack for after school tomorrow. It’s a great way to talk about & remember our brave soldiers that protect us & our country.

Soldier Fruit Snack

1 Green Apple
Peanut Butter
Edible Eyes

Start out by cutting a line around the front of the apple dividing the helmet & face. Then cut off the peel up to the line. We put Nutella & peanut butter in baggies & snipped of the corner. Pipe it on the top to look like camouflage. We decorated the face with the Nutella & peanut butter as well.

Make sure to thank a Veteran tomorrow Sunday Nov. 11! To those of you that have served our country we thank you for your service to our great country and for protecting our freedoms!
