Kitchen Fun With My 3 Sons

Strawberry Shortcake Bento Lunch

Disclaimer: This post may contain affiliate links.

We were asked by Driscoll’s berries to come up with a fun lunch idea for Back to School & we created this fun Strawberry Shortcake Bento for your little Strawberry Shortcake fans! I used to love Strawberry Shortcake when I was a little girl & love that they brought back the cartoon & toys. I still have mine from 1980…gosh I am feeling so old!:)

Strawberry Shortcake Bento

Driscoll’s Strawberries
Sandwich of choice
1 Slice of Provolone Cheese
1 Mini Marshmallow
Chocolate Sprinkles
2 Mini Chocolate chips
Strawberry Yogurt
Red & White Sprinkles
Pretzel Sticks
1 Babybel Cheese

Start out by cutting the 2 bread slices into a circle using a cookie cutter of kitchen scissors. Make any sandwich of your choice & place in your bento box. We cut our Driscoll strawberries in half & place them on top for the hat. Cut a slice of provolone cheese & place it on top to look like part of the hat. Cut a mini marshmallow in half & place on the front for eyes. Add 2 mini chocolate chips for the pupils. We cut pieces from a strawberry to make the nose & mouth. We also used sprinkles for the freckles & eye lashes.

We placed strawberry yogurt in the other container & added sprinkles on top including a strawberry.

MY LATEST VIDEOS

We included pretzel sticks & made a Babybel cheese look like a strawberry. Just take a knife & twist it around to make little circles. Use the top of a strawberry to place on the very top.

My boys didn’t want to help with this one because they said it’s for girls!ha However, I had a lot of fun making this. However, they did love eating their Driscoll’s strawberries!
