Toffee Chocolate Chip Cookies
If you’re baking for the holidays or attending a cookie exchange, these will be a hit! They’re very similar to a typical chocolate chip cookie recipe but has the added flavor of chopped pecans and bits of toffee. We also use both brown sugar and white sugar which really add to the flavor!
Tips for the Perfect Cookie
There are a few things you can do to make sure your cookies turn out perfect every time. Here are the most important ones.
- Use ingredients that are at room temperature. Let your butter and egg sit out for half an hour to warm up.
- Use the best vanilla you can. Imitation vanilla doesn’t taste nearly as good as the real thing.
- Follow the instructions exactly as listed. Don’t simply add all the ingredients together – the mixing steps really matter!
- Use a cookie scoop to make sure every cookie you make is the same size as the others.
