We came up with these fun Tootsie Tree Christmas Cupcakes for my 6 year old’s class Christmas party! They are super easy to make and the kids loved them!
Tootsie Tree Christmas Cupcakes
White Cake Mix (we like Pillsbury)
White Frosting
Decorating Sugar Sprinkles (we like Wilton)
Pretzel Sticks (we like Snyder’s)
Green & Red Christmas Sprinkles
Green & White (vanilla) Tootsie Rolls
Bake mini cupcakes according to box directions. Frost the tops with white frosting and dip in the sugar sprinkles to look like snow. Place each Tootsie Roll in the microwave 1 at a time for 5-6 seconds. Then press it into a triangle shape using your fingers. Wrap it around a pretzel stick so the seem is on the side. Place on foil or wax paper to let them harden back up a bit….
Decorate them using Christmas sprinkles. We used star sprinkles for the tops, but you could use round yellow sprinkles as well.

I'm reading this on Easter 2013, but it's a great idea, not just for kids but for adults who are watching their calorie intake during Christmas so will keep it on my list.
Who knew there were green & white Tootsie Rolls??? Good thing we have you to keep us informed.

Really cute Jill! I love reading about all of your great ideas. Thanks for the inspiration.
Thank you! They are the perfect size. However, I did see several kids sneaking more cupcakes!:)
So sweet and the perfect size for 6 year olds 😉
