Easy Valentine’s Day Popcorn

This Valentines Day Popcorn is a delicious sweet and salty popcorn treat that the entire family will love. It’s so much fun to make with the kids and easy to adjust to different colors and candy for whatever you prefer.

Ingredients You’ll Need:

  • Popcorn – you need popcorn that is already popped.
  • White Chocolate – we use white chocolate candy melts.
  • Pink Candy Melts – this comes in a bag in most grocery stores, craft stores.
  • Valentine Sprinkles – any kind will work.
  • Valentine M&M’s – with colors red, pink and white.

How To Make Valentine’s Day Popcorn

Start off by melting your white chocolate according to the package directions. Place the popcorn in a large bowl & pour the melted chocolate over the popcorn. Toss to coat.

Line a cookie sheet with foil (wax paper or parchment paper can be used) & spoon your popcorn mixture in the pan covering every bit of it.

Valentine Popcorn process

Add some sprinkles & the M&M’s. Melt your pink candy melts according to the package directions. You can either drizzle it over the popcorn with a spoon or use a squeeze bottle. Add on more sprinkles & let it harden for about 30 minutes.

Now you have this beautiful popcorn mix that everyone will just love. This is such a fun treat for the kids to create with really pretty results!

Fold the cut out in half. Place the popcorn mix in snack sized baggies. Either tape or staple the printable on top. You can always change up the colors with this as well for any Holiday!

Variations:

Another option is to use white chocolate, pink, red and milk chocolate candy melts to color the popcorn. You can do this by using one color for each baking pan. Once it’s set, combine with Valentine M&M’s and other candies.

Feel free to add in pretzels, conversation hearts, white chocolate chips, mini marshmallow, any Valentine’s day candy or anything to your liking.

  • 20 cups popped popcorn 2 microwave bags or 3/4 cups kernels popped
  • 16 oz white chocolate candy melts
  • 16 oz pink candy melts
  • Valentine sprinkles
  • Valentine M&M's

Instructions

  • Melt the white chocolate according to the package directions.
  • Place the popped popcorn in a large bowl & pour the melted chocolate over the popcorn. Stir to coat.
  • Line a cookie sheet with foil & spoon your popcorn mixture in the pan covering every bit of it. Add some sprinkles & M&M's on top.

  3. CUTE!!! Unfortunately my child’s school doesn’t allow homemade treats, it absolutely kills me. I’m making this for home for sure, chocolate covered popcorn is the best!
