Watermelon Pancakes

I was going through my pictures today and noticed this Watermelon Pancake Breakfast that we made over a year ago. We made this the same week that we made our Watermelon PB&J that was featured in Family Fun magazine! This is so easy to make and I remember my boys loving this! The best part about it is that we didn’t use any food coloring!

Watermelon Pancakes For Kids

Watermelon Pancakes…

Pancake Mix
Strawberries
Green Grapes
Mini Chocolate Chips

We started out by making our pancake mix. We put a hand full of strawberries in a blender and pureed them. We mixed the strawberries in to the pancake mix to give it the red color. You can shape a large circle in a pan on low heat and then just cut slices (like a pizza)…or just shape a large watermelon slice in the pan. Place the pancake slice on a plate. Cut green grapes in half and place them on the top to look like the rind. Place mini chocolate chips on the top to look like seeds….so easy!

Here is our Watermelon P B & J….
