What is Bacon Wrapped Meatloaf?

This easy recipe is made of bacon wrapped around meatloaf and topped with a sweet homemade glaze consisting of ketchup, brown sugar, and balsamic vinegar!

You'll need ground beef, bacon, and a few other ingredients to make this easy recipe. Let's get started!

What You'll Need

Combine your ketchup with the sugar and vinegar to make the glaze.

Make the Glaze

Line the bottom and sides of a 9×5 loaf pan with the bacon strips.

Prep the Loaf Pan

Mix together ground beef, eggs, breadcrumbs, spices, cheese, worcestershire sauce, and ketchup.

Prep the Meatloaf

Putting the meat mixture into the loaf pan and shape it. Then wrap the additional bacon strips on top of it.

Add to Pan

Cover loaf pan with broiler rack, flip upside down, and place on boiler pan. Brush meatloaf with ketchup glaze, and bake 30 minutes.

Cover and Bake

Remove from the oven, add more glaze, and bake for another 30 minutes. Then remove it from the oven and let it sit for 10-15 minutes.

Finish and Cool

Garnish with fresh parsley if desired. Then slice and serve.
