Heat some oil in a cast iron skillet and cook the steak until all sides are browned.
Toss in the onion and garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes more.
Combine soup, water, and garlic salt in a bowl, and then add it on top of the meat. Let the ingredients come to a simmer on low heat.
Let the beef simmer for 45 minutes, mixing regularly. Scrape the bottom of the pan/pot to avoid sticking.
Serve your steak and gravy over a bed of hot rice, and garnish with chopped parsley!
