Boston Cream Donuts

Is It Hard To Make Boston Cream Donuts?

Not at all! The secret is using canned biscuit dough as the donut. Then they're filled with a rich cream and topped with a mouthwatering chocolate glaze!

You'll need Pillsbury Grands biscuit dough, and a few other simple ingredients to make this easy recipe.

What You'll Need

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together milk and the pudding mix until well combined. Set aside to thicken.

Make the Pudding

Beat the Whipping Cream

In a separate mixing bowl, beat heavy whipping cream until thick. Then mix in powdered sugar and vanilla extract.

Refrigerate the Mixture

Fold the pudding mixture into the whipped cream. Cover and refrigerate until you’re ready to fill the donuts.

Fry the Biscuit Dough

Heat vegetable oil to 350F and deep fry the biscuits for 3 minutes per side. Then remove to a cooling rack.

Make the Frosting

Whisk milk, cream, butter, vanilla, corn syrup, chocolates, and powdered sugar in a saucepan until smooth.

Fill the Donuts

Make a hole through the donuts. Then scoop the cream filling into a piping bag or a condiment bottle and fill the donuts as much as possible.

Frost the Donuts

Dip the top of each donut in the warm chocolate frosting.

Allow to Cool

Place the donuts on a wire cooling rack until the frosting is set.

Dig In

Serve the donuts fresh with a glass of cold milk or a mug of hot coffee. Enjoy!
