Then cream together the butter, sugar and brown sugar until a light and fluffy texture is achieved. Beat in the egg, followed by the baking soda and vanilla extract. Once those ingredients are incorporated into the mix, add in the flour and salt until everything is evenly combined.
  • Now it’s time to stir in the chocolate chips—feel free to adjust the amount depending on how chocolaty you want your cookies! Then, add the chocolate syrup to the cookie dough and give it a good stir before scooping.
