Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
Line an 9x13 baking dish with parchment paper.
Spray the baking dish with non-stick baking spray first, lay the parchment paper on top and spray the baking dish again on top of the parchment paper.
In the bowl of a stand mixer add all of your ingredients for the crust.
Mix on medium to high until combined.
The crust batter will form a ball.
Place the crust batter into the baking dish and press the mixture into the bottom. Set to the side.
In a medium sized mixing bowl add the filling ingredients and mix with an electric mixer until fully combined.
The mix should be smooth and creamy.
Pour the filling over the crust in the baking dish.
Bake for 40-45 minutes or until the edges turn a light golden brown.
Remove the margarita bars from the oven and set to the side too cool for 1 hour.
Garnish the top with powdered sugar, margarita salt, and more lime zest.
