Reindeer Poop Cookies


Cookie Ingredients:

  • 1 C of unsalted sweet cream butter softened
  • 1 1/2 C Powder sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 egg
  • 3 C of flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp cream of tarter
  • Cookie Cutter: circle

Red and Green Buttercream Frosting Ingredients:

  • 1 C unsalted sweet cream butter softened
  • 4-5 C powdered sugar
  • 1/4 C heavy whipping cream
  • 2 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • Red and Green gel food coloring
  • 1 disposable piping bag with a large circle tip



  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  2. Cover a cookie sheet with parchment paper and set aside
  3. Using a standing mixer, cream together the butter, powder sugar, vanilla and egg, and mix until combined and creamy
  4. Using a large bowl, combine the flour, baking soda and cream of tarter
  5. Gradually add in the dry ingredients and mix on low speed
  6. Using your hands continue to mix until fully combined
  7. Lightly flour a cutting board and knead the cookie dough a couple of times
  8. Roll out the dough to about 1/2 inch thick
  9. Cut out 12 Circles and place onto a cookie sheet
  10. Bake for 8 minutes or until lightly golden brown
  11. Repeat steps until completely out of dough
  12. Let cookies cool completely

Buttercream Frosting Directions:

  1. Using a standing mixer, beat the butter on medium speed until creamy
  2. Mix in the powdered sugar, heavy whipping cream, and vanilla extract until combined and smooth
  3. If the frosting is to thin, mix in 1/4 C more of powdered sugar
  4. Divide the frosting into two bowls and add green gel food coloring into one bowl
  5. Add red gel food coloring into the second bowl
  6. Place piping bag in the glass and fold the edges over the sides of the glass
  7. Scoop the red frosting into one side of the piping bag
  8. Scoop the green frosting into the other side of the piping bag
  9. Pipe the frosting onto the cookies starting from the middle of the cookie and going around to the edge of the cookie
  10. Allow frosting to slightly harden for an hour before enjoying!
