Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Hearts are an adorable snack for Valentine's Day. This eggless cookie dough dipped in Ghirardelli chocolate is delicious!

Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Truffles


  • 1 C flour plus 2 tbsp
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp kosher salt
  • 1/4 C unsalted sweet cream butter softened
  • 6 tbsp sugar
  • 6 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3 tbsp cold water
  • 1 1/2 C mini chocolate chips
  • 1 mini heart cookie cutter
  • 1 8 oz bag of Ghirardelli melting chocolate wafers
  • 1 container of V-day sprinkles


  1. Using a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, salt, sugar, brown sugar, butter and vanilla and mix until combined.
  2. If the dough is crumbly, mix in the water
  3. Mix in the chocolate chips
  4. Place a piece of parchment paper onto a small cookie sheet
  5. Place dough onto the cookie sheet and flatten the dough into 1/2 inch thick
  6. Place the cookie sheet into the fridge for 20 minutes
  7. Once timer is up, using the cookie cutter, cut out your hearts
  8. Place onto a plate and back into the fridge for another 10 minutes
  9. Using a microwave safe bowl, melt the Ghirardelli melting chocolate in intervals of 30 seconds until melted
  10. Once melted, using a fork, dip a heart into the chocolate and carefully tap the side of the bowl to get rid of excess chocolate
  11. Place onto another cookie sheet lined with parchment paper
  12. Sprinkle with the v-day sprinkles
  13. Repeat steps until all dough is used
  14. Allow chocolate to harden for 30 minutes before enjoying.
