Baileys Pound Cake Recipe

Pound Cake Ingredients
- 1 C unsalted butter softened
- 1 C sugar
- 1 tsp kosher salt
- 3 large eggs
- 1 C Baileys Irish Creme Liqueur
- 2 ¼ C flour
- 2 ½ tsp baking powder
Pound Cake Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees and spray the loaf pan with pam baking spray
Using a standing mixer, cream together the butter, sugar, and salt together until combined and smooth
Using a large bowl, whisk the eggs and bailey’s until combined
Gradually mix into the butter mixer until combined
Using a medium bowl, whisk together the flour and baking powder
Gradually mix into the wet ingredients until combined
Pour batter into the baking pan
Bake in the oven for 50-65 minutes
If not done and starts to brown, cover with foil and bake for 10 more minutes
Allow to cool completely
Glaze Directions
Using a large bowl, whisk all ingredients together until combined
Pour over the loaf and allow the glaze to harden
Cut into slices and enjoy!
