Red Velvet Hot Cocoa
This red velvet hot cocoa is one of my newest favorites. The key is the red velvet syrup and whipped topping – yum!
Servings: 4 servings
- 4 cups whole milk
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 10 oz semi-sweet baking chocolate coarsely chopped
- 2 tsp. Red Food Color
- 1 tsp. Pure Vanilla Extract
- 1 tsp. red velvet syrup
Place milk and granulated sugar in medium saucepan on medium heat.
Bring to simmer, stirring to dissolve sugar.
Remove from heat.
Stir in chocolate chips with wire whisk until melted.
Stir in food color, syrup and vanilla.
Pour into serving cups.
Top with whip cream.
Garnish with Christmas sprinkles.
