How to Cook Spaghetti Squash
There are several different ways on how to cook spaghetti squash, but we have found that this way is the best. This baking method also brings out the best flavors of the squash and turns out perfect every single time!
- 1 spaghetti squash
- olive oil
- salt and pepper to taste
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
Slice the spaghetti squash in half lengthwise and scoop out the seeds.
Drizzle the inside of the squash with olive oil. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Place the spaghetti squash halves cut side down on the baking sheet and use a fork to poke holes.
Roast for 30 to 40 minutes or until lightly browned on the outside. Test by piercing through the skin with a fork. If it pierces easily, it's ready. The time will vary depending on the size of your squash.
Remove from the oven and flip the squash over cut side up. Use a fork to scrape and fluff the strands from the sides and bottom of the squash.
