The Best Chocolate Chip Pie Recipe
A Chocolate Chip Pie is more than a cookie, but not quite a traditional pie. The combination of pie crust with a delicious cookie like filling creates a new dessert recipe that is to die for. - 1 unbaked pie crust homemade or store bought
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar packed
- 3/4 cup butter softened
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup chopped pecans or walnuts
- Vanilla ice cream for serving
Preheat the oven to 325F. Line a pie plate with the unbaked pie crust, crimping the edges. Set aside.
In a large mixing bowl, beat the butter and both sugars until fluffy.
Add in the eggs and beat for 2 minutes.
Mix in the flour until combined.
