  • Preheat the oven to 350F degrees. Lightly grease or line with parchment paper a 9x13 inch pan.
  • In a large bowl whisk or beat (using a hand mixer) together the butter, brown sugar & white sugar. Mix in the eggs and vanilla extract. Carefully add in the flour, baking powder and salt and combine until blended. Stir in the chocolate chips. 
  • Spoon the batter into the prepared pan, and smooth the top with a rubber spatula. Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes, or until the edges are lightly browned and the top looks set.
  • Let cool for at least 15 minutes before cutting into squares.
