Banana Upside Down Cake
Banana Upside Down Cake is a yummy unique dessert that is like a combination of a pineapple upside down cake and banana bread.

- 1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup white sugar
- 2 medium ripe 1 cup bananas, mashed
- 1/2 cup whole milk
- 1 Tablespoon vanilla extract
- 1/3 cup canola oil
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 6 Tablespoons salted butter melted
- 2 ripe bananas thinly sliced
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F, and grease a 9-inch springform cake pan.
In a small bowl, combine all topping ingredients and press into the bottom of prepared pan.
Layer banana slices on top of mixture.
In a large bowl, combine all cake ingredients and pour on top of banana layer.
Bake for 40-45 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean when inserted.
Carefully turn out onto a platter and serve.
