cupcake Ingredients
- 1 box Vanilla cake mix
- 3 large eggs
- ½ C unsalted sweet cream butter softened
- 1 C whole milk
- 1 tbsp pure maple extract
Maple Frosting :
- 1 ½ C unsalted sweet cream butter softened
- 4 C powdered sugar
- 2 TBSP Pure maple extract
- 3-5 tbsp heavy whipping cream
- 12 crispy bacon slices finely chopped
- 1 large piping bag with star tip
- 1 medium ice cream scooper
- 12 slices bacon crumbled
Cupcake Directions :
Preheat oven to 350 degrees and line cupcake pan with cupcake liners
Using a hand mixer, combine all the ingredients for the cupcakes in a large mixing bowl until combined
Scoop cupcake batter into the liners filling about ⅔ full
Bake in the preheated oven for 21 minutes
Remove and allow to cool!
Frosting Directions
Using a standing mixer, beat together the butter, powdered sugar, maple extract, and heavy whipping cream until combined, smooth and stiff
Scoop 1 C into the piping bag and set aside
Decorating the cupcakes :
Using the ice cream scooper, scoop some frosting and lightly tap the ice cream scooper onto the counter to get the frosting to smooth out
Scoop the frosting onto the cupcakes
