Saute bacon on the stovetop until crispy. Set aside
Add olive oil, onions, celery, and carrots to the slow cooker.
Add the bacon, chicken stock, garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce, thyme, cumin, salt, pepper, and beans.
Put the lid on the slow cooker
Cook for 5-6 hours on high until beans and vegetables are soft.
Garnish bowls of soup with your choice of toppings. Suggestions: cheese, greens, green onions, sour cream, avocado, more bacon.
