- 1/3 cup soy sauce
- 1/3 cup lemon juice
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 1/4 cup worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon garlic peeled and minced
- 2 tablespoons Italian seasoning blend
- 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/8 teaspoon red pepper
- 3-4 steaks rib eye or New York strip are great choices
- 3 tablespoons butter divided
- fresh parsley chopped
In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, lemon juice, olive oil, worcestershire sauce, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, pepper, salt, and red pepper.
Place the steaks in a zip lock bag or large bowl and pour the marinade on top. Turn the steaks to ensure all sides are coated in the marinade.
Marinate in the refrigerator for 2 hours or overnight.
Skillet Cooking Instructions
Heat a large skillet or cast iron pan over medium-high heat. Add 1 tablespoon of butter then the place the steaks in the pan and cook on each side for 2-3 minutes or until outside is browned.
Reduce heat to medium and cook the steaks to the desired doneness.
Top each steak with a pat of butter and garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
