Cheesy Bacon Bombs

Cheesy Bacon Bombs make an amazing snack, appetizer, or side dish that the whole family will love. Biscuit dough filled with mozzarella cheese and bacon, rolled into a ball and baked until golden brown, then basted with melted butter and herbs--these little rolls will melt in your mouth!

  • 2 cans 7.5 oz. each refrigerated biscuits (the small biscuits)
  • 8 ounces mozzarella cheese cut into 20 cubes
  • 8 slices bacon cooked and crumbled
  • ¼ cup butter melted
  • 1/2 teaspoon. Italian seasoning blend
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Marinara sauce for dipping optional


  • Preheat oven to 400°F. Very lightly spray a large baking sheet with non-stick cooking spray.
  • Open the biscuit packages and press each biscuit into a 3-inch round.
  • Place one cube of cheese in the center of each biscuit. Top with a heaping teaspoon of the fully cooked bacon.
  • Carefully wrap the biscuit dough around the cheese and bacon and seal. Place the rolls seam side down on the prepared baking sheet, leaving about an inch between each.
  • Bake for 10 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown and the cheese is melted.
  • In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, Italian seasoning, and garlic powder.
  • Remove the biscuits from the oven and immediately brush with butter mixture. Serve warm with marinara sauce.
