Banana Bread Brownies

This Banana Bread Brownies is my favorite way to use ripe bananas. They’re rich, moist and topped with a delicious frosting!

Ingredients

Cream Cheese Frosting

  • 1 8 ounce package of cream cheese softened
  • 1/2 cups butter softened
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 3 1/2 to 4 cups confectioners' sugar

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 370°F
  • Coat a 9x13-inch baking dish with non-stick baking spray. Set aside.
  • In a large bowl, beat together sugar, sour cream, eggs, and butter until creamy.
  • Blend in bananas and vanilla.
  • Add flour, baking soda, and salt. Mix until completely blended.
  • Pour the batter into the baking pan and spread evenly.
  • Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the center is set. Let cool before frosting

Cream Cheese Frosting:

  • In a large bowl, beat cream cheese, butter and vanilla until fluffy.
  • Gradually beat in enough confectioners' sugar to achieve desired consistency.
  • Frost bars and sprinkle with cinnamon (optional). Store in the refrigerator.
